Yukata Rental

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Yukata must be washed and returned within 5 days from the rental date, in its original state. You may look under the FAQ in YukataHouse on "Washing your Yukata & Obi".

2. Additional charges will be incurred if not returned within 5 days at $10 per day.

3. Returning of the Yukata will be through meet-ups and location will be to our convenience. 

4. Full deposit will be returned to you upon receiving the yukata and other items, in good condition (washed & undamaged), back in our care. 

5. Each Yukata is unique so please treat it lovingly. Please take proper care for each and every item as some, such as the wooden clogs (geta), may be fragile. 

6. Each item is very dear to us and irreplaceable for us. In the event of lost items or damages/stains beyond repair, the following price will be charged;

SIZING

The Yukata is “free-size” and adjustable in the sense that you can make an "ohashori" (which is a fold) to adjust the length of the yukata; and you can use the strings to tighten around the waist when you wear and tie the yukata. 

Generally, our female Yukatas can fit female sizes S to L, from female height 150cm to 180cm. XL may be okay as well. So long as the widest part of your body (waist/ hip/etc) is 110cm and below, you will definitely be able to wear the yukata~

As for the geta, female geta comes in standard size 39. Traditionally, Geta is worn 1-2 sizes smaller than your usual size, but for comfort I would advice your regular size or 1 size bigger- hence a "standard size".
